can anyone who has been on probation who has had screenings tell me what is the time frame for alcohol to be detected in a urinalysis.

Yes it is possible that they could drug test you. In most cases it really depends on the probation officer and how busy he is and if he is a strict PO. If he is it's likely he will test you at some point. When they have a large number of cases they tend not to test too often on charges that did not originally include a drug offense. Same goes for the testing positive...many times it is up to the PO whether they send you to jail or give you a warning sometimes they will give you more than one chance as long as it's only weed they are finding ....anything else forget it you'll be sitting in jail.

Beware! Although the alcohol should be released from your blood stream within 24-48 hours, some counties have annual polygraphs that ask you about alcohol use!

Yeah alcohol is metabolized by your liver fairly rapidly, usually within 24-48 hours. It's water soluble so it shouldn't get stored in fat as far as I know... you must be underage or have a serious drinking problem for someone to be ua'ing you for alcohol!!
