Yes. It really is. It's not stupidity, because too many Ivy League types are firm believers. There's really no other explanation for not understanding the Laffer Curve than some kind of mental block that won't let them understand it. It's not a difficult concept, you don't even need a college degree to understand it, and yet, they don't. It has to be a mental disorder.

There's also obviously something wrong with someone that can't understand the Second Amendment. Whether you like it or not, it says what it says. We're all free to like it or not like it, and even favor repealing it, but it takes some kind of pathological condition to deny that it says what it says in black and white.

What it comes down to is a mental condition that simply won't register reality when it conflicts with their fantasy. They won't accept that Bush won two elections, but the facts are there. They invent a story that the USSC appointed him to explain it, but are immune to the Truth which is in the Opinions. Because of this, they assume he's capable of great evil, he's the major force of evil in the universe, capable of planning the 9/11 attacks and making it look like Arabs did it.

Apparently registering Democrat makes one immune to the influence of evil, so Democrats couldn't possibly commit Perjury, or rape women, or accept bribes disguised as cattle futures trades, or illegally possess FBI files, or be guilty of anything by illegally meeting with foreign heads of state, and seem to be oblivious to why having $90,000 in cash hidden in a freezer looks suspicious to everyone else. They have no problem supporting gun control laws that were written by a man who shot a young boy for swimming in his pool (Charlie Rangel).

There's no question about it. Liberals are mentally ill.

I don't mean to be a name caller but Michael Savage is a racist, myopic, scum-sucking bottom-feeder whose mental inadequacies are only surpassed by his lack of ethics.

I think judging whole groups of people based on their political beliefs is called paranoia, however.
