what is the diff between a furit and veg.

Fruits are seed bearing... tomatoes are botanically fruits since they contain seeds. Also, eggplants, gourds, peppers, corn and peas are considered fruits.

Vegetables are generally any other parts of a plant - leaves, stalks and roots.
