That is im a cristian but in genral, in pictures , movies book and such jesus had long hair but christians dont allow it . so...

This is all cultural, not Biblical. Cornrowing is great if it gets your hair out of your way. Christians do allow long hair -- even fairly conservative Christians. Try some different churches.

I don't think it's a silly question.

In Jesus' day, short hair was considered at your shoulders, and long hair was considered at your waist or longer.

So the hair you see Jesus depicted as having was actually short in His day.

The Bible talks about how women should not try to dress like men, etc. So we have to take those things into account.

That being said, I believe we should wear our hair (and facial hair for men) modestly (in other words, not looking gaudy and not trying to attract attention) and in the way that looks best with our features.

Christians are to be living examples.

No, it is not a sin. Christians are freed from fear of cornrows,long hair,mohawks,etc. Don't worry ;Jesus said that you can't change your hair color by worrying(yes, that was in the day before "Just for Men")
