I learned that God came to earth as a human(Jesus) and lived a lowly servant life and was perfect but took the criminals torture and humiliating death of a sinner so that I could be blameless in God's eyes and go to Heaven.

Having my babies. This might not seem that special to some, but we were told that we wouldn't have biological children without medical intervention. This was after 2 miscarriages and a still birth. Also, the way my first came into the world. She was a preemie, born at 36 weeks, but weighing only 3 lbs 3 oz. She had to be taken to another hospital in the area that had a NICU, and she was given a blessing before that all would work out and that she would be ok. I got out of the hospital the next day, and that night when we went to visit her, she had been taken off the vent, and was on CPAP support. The next day, she was only on room air. The doctors and nurses couldn't believe it, since she came in in such bad shape. She progressed well, and faster then anticipated, and she came home less then a month later. The doctors told us there was probably some brain damage, and that she would be behind in some development, but she isn't, and in fact has done things faster then anyone imagined!! She is ahead of some of the kids her own age.

Since then, we have had another little girl, and we have another one on the way. No help from the medical community on any of my pregnancies, well, getting pregnant that is!!

As a child I was in many horrible auto accidents back when there were no seat belts & many people were terribly hurt & disfigured while I at worst had my left arm broken in 3 places. I have almost been cut in half from a shotgun blast while hunting. I have had rattle snakes strike miss more than once & one time while on the way back from a shooting match in Phoenix, Montezuma's revenge hit sending me down a dry wash seeking to relieve myself. I found a hollow stump that was perfect, but something whispered in my ear to turn around and brush off any ants on the "seat" before I sat down. When I did this I passed my hand only 6" above a sleeping Black Timber Rattler!!! Needless to say I was constipated for a month!!! As an adult I was hit while in a V.W. Bug broadside by a 4X4 Ford truck, flipping it. My leg bent the shifter in half & my hold on the steering wheel bent the steering column & wheel! I was the only one to walk away without a scratch while the V.W. was only 3ft. wide then!!! Proof positive God has a plan for my life!!! John

My son was healed of a heart condition when he was 9 weeks old. He was born with a heart condition. He had an extra loud heart murmur that was not normal the doctors said. I was having to take him to the doctor every week from the time he was born. A pediatric cardiologist was being called in from a larger city that was about an hour and half away from the little town that I live in on a Tuesday. Sunday before at church, I requested prayer for my little son that God would correct whatever was wrong with my son's heart. I took him to the doctor on Tuesday as scheduled. The nurses had already rolled in the EKG machines. The doctor listened to the front of his chest and then the back and kept going from front to back. He took his stethoscope and hung it around his neck, walked over the sink, washed his hands and turned around to me and said, "Well, whatever heart problem he was born with, he doesn't have it anymore. You can take him home." He has been fine every since. He is now 11 years old and very active in sports.

Beside the fact that You or I were born exactly as we are (a statistically large impossibility) I have to say:
1 not dying in any of the car, boat, bus or train crashes I've been in.
2 My seeing ghosts, UFO's and cryptozoological creatures.
3 Me finding a viewpoint that explains all my questions about how and why the universe works the way it does. Though I'm still open for even more pandemic paradigms.

When I was eighteen months old I was diagnosed with Spinal Meningitis, Meningacocal Strain B. The doctor told me mother that I had 48 hours to live. If I did live I would either be deaf and dubs, blind, paralized from the waist down or mentally retarted. Three quarters of my brain was clowded with spinal fluid. I am now thirty-one, with three children, living a normal life with no sideaffects. The doctors told my parent that they were not able to help me overcome my meningitis and it was beyond them how I was able to survive.

One time... I was riding in the back seat of my mother's car. We were going through a school zone, which was set at 20 miles per hour.

My mother was probably traveling 25 MPH.

We headed down a grade(not a steep one). This girl runs out in front of us and our car STOPPED. My mother didn't even have the chance to touch the brake. She popped the transmission into park.

The mother of the child is hysterical. My mom is just crying her eyes out. The girl is not scratched at all. NO blood. She says to her mother... "Somebody pushed me..."

The mother said to her, "You were hit by a car." The little girl now crying because her mother didn't believe her.. She said, "The car never touched me, mommy don't you believe me?"

Her mother looked at my mother. They both examined the little girl without finding so much as a hair really out of place.

They both agreed God was looking out for them and we went on our merry way.

Did I mention that I could see her foot on the accelerator and not the brake? Even when she popped it into park. (This was before they invented the safety switch that requires you to put your foot on the brake in case you get that bright idea.)

I can still envision the incident almost 25 years later.

Graduating with honors from a good college (University of Michigan, class of 1974) after having dropped out of high school in the middle of 10th grade. Of course I assumed my academic career was completely trashed when I dropped out, but it turned out not to be the case.

Moral to the story: never assume you're lost. "It ain't over 'til it's over," as Yogi Barra put it.

During a church service I received the gift of interpretations of tongues. Startling enough but some months later I was listening to a customer and her mother speak in their native language - Lichtenstein - I completely understood that the mother was looking for a product in my store. I answered them in english and then we all realized what had just happened.

No, none of the words were similar to english. I just somehow knew word for word what was being said. Never happened again.
