ha ha ha! when we were young we were curious what would result if we microwaved a raisin. we wanted to see if it would blow up back into the shape of a grape (and stay that way.) instead it burned up and exploded and caused the worse smell ever. it filled up the entire house with this awful smell and so we opened all the windows and doors so that the smell would escape before our parents got home. looking back it was absolutely hilarious but at the time we were so scared of getting caught.
since then i've realized the worse smell ever. a year ago a skunk sprayed underneath our house. we were woken up in the middle of the night, unable to breathe. it's nothing like the usual skunk smell when you are in the nucleus of it all!

Did you know that if you slice a grape and microwave it, the grape will make your microwave catch fire? But I would not try it if I were you!!!

Most things sealed within a skin or membrane will indeed explode. This is why you poke holes in potatoes or pierce the yolk of an egg to nuke either one.

I never had a reason to try.
But thanks I'll put a paper towel over any should it ever come to that
I hate to try and clean the inside of that thing.
