Yes and I only took one pill, 7.5mgs. Had a really serious reaction ended up in Intensive Care, thankfully was IN Hospital when it was given too me. I know many people who take it but it always seems they have to stop due to liver function problems.

Cant say for sure because I took prednisone at the same time as Methotreate and had side effects but not sure which could be attributed to which one. I was gradually phased out of both of them, reducing dosage each week. Lasted about 9 months all together. Suggest you talk to your pharmacist and he will give you a printout or you can google it. Good luck and I know you will be glad to get through with it
