No.
Polytheists know that their gods are generally just. They aren't jealous nor do they send people to hell for not worshipping them.
They don't make deals with you without your consent, and then punish you for failing to live up to the "deal."

no for every god that could threathen the helpless human there was another god that would fight against the other god for this human.
