Where did Adam get his Y Chromosome? Or X for that matter?
Since he is able to create life from dust, he would have been able to introduced the basic genetic material into the nucleus of her egg. You don't need a sperm for that.
That genetic material would have been the same as what he used to create Adam, which would have overwhelmed or would have been dominant over anything provided by Mary. As such, he would have been close to a clone of Adam.
As for the Shroud, the only thing left in the crept was the rolled up bandages used to wrap Jesus. No shroud. It is just like any other item used as an idol for people lacking faith.

You are right. Definitely Y is passed down from male. But how would you do that.. Y is not even a gene carrier. only X chromosomes carry the genes from the parents to the child. We don't know the mysteries of a higher being than us. we are just like a child trying to put the whole ocean inside the hole we made. It is even difficult for us to solve equations in 3 dimentions. how much more in more dimentions. We can only illustrate things upto 3D.

Well that is a good Question. I was stumped for a moment. Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, after the Holy Spirit had over shadowed her.
You could look at cells found on the shroud and find something, but if God does not want to reveal it then it will not be found.
Scripture tells us that God is a spirit on those who come to Him MUST Believe that He is. You need to aquire faith, and you get that from God, ask Him for it.

I don't think he was a clone, but God can do anything with 3 drops of blood. Any genetic material left on the shroud would prove to be human, most likely. It's the spaces between the molecules that are important. You know, the cohesive force that keeps us all from exploding everywhere.

From his father. Here's how it goes. Each person has a set of 46 chromosomes. When they procreate, the father gives the new life 23 of his chromosomes, and the kid gets 23 of the mothers chromosomes, making 46 of course. Not to hard is it?

Did Adam have Chromosomes? Did God first have to create science and then later created man scientifically? God is not subject to science ...but science is subject to God, Even an Athiest must admit there are first which will not fit your pattern it proves only the limitations of Science and man's limited understanding. Keep following this line of questioning and you will eventually have to admit there are things beyond our limited understanding.

This question can only stay in argument if you believe in the so-called Virgin Birth, which I don't believe in. So, where did Jesus get his Y-chromosomes? *shrug* not important.

God overshadowed Mary and she conceived a child. The angel Gabriel carried the message to Mary and God did not actually come to earth. His angel carried this out for him.

From his entirely human father, which is why I do not believe that Jesus of Nazareth is divine by birth, he is divine by choice of his followers.
Until someone can find some of his DNA and prove to me he doesn't have all 46 chromosomes all human beings have I will not believe him to be divine.

silly question.. no faith.. only scepticism... when you trust only what science knows today, then you do come to this solution.. but you have alot more questions. than just this.. Mary even asked this question.. but i bet it was pretty clear after she gave birth to Jesus where He came from..
