It started 18months ago with ear ache which was excrutiatingly painfull, that soon spread down my neck and caused severe pain in my head. After about 2months the pain eased and all this smelly green stuff came oozing out. Its been like that ever since (2005). It has bled,theres skin coming out and the smell started getting worse and my hearing isnt the same. Im on about my 10th lot of antibiotics but things arent helping. Doctor is just as confused!! Can anyone help? Is my hearing going to return?

if the doctor you are seeing now is unable to effect healing, I'd urge you to see a specialist and get another opinion.

That sounds horrible. I would also go find another doctor, probably a ear, nose and throat specialist. It sounds like you had some sort of an infection in your ear/eardrum.

i have experienced a similar problem,my doctor suggested getting my ears syringed but then the pain got 10times worse, i was on constant antibiotics. in the end i got referred to a ears, nose and throat specialist who diagnosed me with an inner ear infection they cleaned my ears and gave me an ointment to which cleared the problem, i have been told i have a narrow ear canal which makes my ears more sensitive and more prone to build up of ear wax(yuck)! do not use cotton buds, cleanse ears with a few droplets of olive oil before bed time once a week for the wax to escape!

Get refferred to the hospital to see an ENT specialist. Sounds like infection, but dont mess with ears as it can lead to Menieres which is horrible. causes dizyness sickness and balance problems. not to mention deafness. Your Doc sounds rubbish. Get a new one TODAY.

You need to bathe yourself thouroghly, and do calming meditations, after that use warm water and clean out your digestive tract thoughroghly, with anti-parasitic medications, trust!

this has been going on for a while..i think you need to see another dr and fast...this could be someting really dangerous and you could go deaf in that ear .....see someone soon before it is too late
