I am 14 years old and my weight is 157 and i am 5'7 is that good?
and can any one help me with any tricks to loose weight before summer starts?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Part of the answer depends on whether you're a girl or boy? As a boy 157 may or may not be bad? Muscle is very heavy! However, as a general guideline:

#1) Quit drinking soda!!

#2) Reduce sugar intake!!! (This includes soda, obviously) Not get rid of, but reduce. It's not about not having ice cream, it's about having two scoops instead of five!

#3) Excercise. Not forced, though. Find something you enjoy. You'll be surprised at how many things once you try them will become a past time that you look forward to. Try all kinds of things. For instance, running at first sucks, but once you get into it, it becomes enjoyable. However, if it doesn't theres, cycling, walking, kayaking, tennis, racquetball, etc... there are soooooooo many things out there that even though you won't be good at it at first, it will come to you and help to maintain a good healthy weight (which is not a size 1 by the way).

Don't sweat it too much. Whether your a girl or boy 157 isn't life shattering weight. Nothing you do can take it off healthily by summer, but almost any of the above will help to make you feel better immediately and long term will have you looking fabulous for years to come.

In addition to plannerman2001, I would say maybe try yogurt as a substitute for the ice cream or your favorite fruit as a substitute for cookies/candy. Also, maybe try more meals a day at smaller portions. The more often you eat, the lesser the tendency for your body to store energy(fat) for later and the greater the tendency to burn it now. Try keeping fruits at hand so that you can eat a healthy snack anytime you get a little hungry rather than starving yourself, then pigging out.

It's nearly summer and swimming is a great cardio activity as well as a full body workout.

Also, drink plently of water daily.

You shouldn't really worry about losing weight so young your still going through puberty and your weight should stretch out some but if you want to lose some healthy then cut down on the out to eat trips to mc donalds and fill your plate with some lean meat, fruits, veges, and whole grains/wheat. Don't eat as much and start walking/running 30 mins nightly and in no time you'll be seeing some results. also go workout at a gym.

5'7" and 157 lbs is fat, no matter how old you are. If you are 14 it's really really really fat. Get off your butt and do something besides asking stupid questions on the internet.

You have to do some cardio exercises meaning to get the heart pumping (running,swimming, jogging etc.) and you'll get it lost fast. And you have to cut down on ur eating and junk food.

Get involved in sports. Don't sit on the couch and eat all day.
