this is common cream to treat for yeast infection that has penatrated deep into vaginal or labial tissue. clorimazole is the antifungal cream and the betamethasone is used for reducing inflammation and itching sensation. yeast infxn is no a std (sexually transmitted infection)

clotrimazole betameth cream is normally used to treat Ringworm of Groin Area, Athlete's Foot, Ringworm of the Body but may also be used to treat skin Infection due to a Candida Yeast (yeast infection).
This combination medication is used to treat a variety of inflamed fungal skin infections. The product basically contains 2 medications. As far as I know, it is used for vaginal yeast infections. The betameth is an anti-inflammatory. Both of the products together, I am not sure what it is used for. I would suggest that you go to WebMD and type the drug in there and see what it says.

it kills bacteria. antibiotics kill bacteria. even sometimes the good bacteria. that's why women are prone to yeast infections.
