...for there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave or free, male or female...in Christ we are one.

So, with that said...
Why all the divisions?

Why do fundies think Jews are going to hell?

Why do fundies feel that women should not be preachers?

Why do fundies feel that homosexuality is a sin...if God does not see male or female..how can he see gay or straight?

Aren't we all "one" in Christ?

We are all one IN CHRIST. We are equal IN CHRIST.

I believe that it means that there is not ONE religion that is right. I believe religion sidetracks, entraps and discriminates for the most part.

That is why I choose to be a Christian and follow Christ's teachings - to love others regardless, not to judge others - take the plank out my your own eye - and to walk my talk (among many other things).

Well, this refers to people who have been baptized into Christ. If a Jew is baptized into Christ, then he or she is one in Christ with the rest of the body.

That's what the whole book of Galatians is about -- do you have to convert to Judaism to be a Christian? Paul's answer is, "No, we're all one in Christ."

The other questions you ask really need to be discussed in the light of other verses.

The difference is necessitated by the diversity that exist. People are very diverse. They differ in color of their skin, they differ in language, they differ in culture, they differ in geographical location......to name but a few. These differences result in divisions that you have observed.

However, spiritually, it is not so. All people are the same in Christ. These differences are like different houses having the same thing. It is written, "our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit." So regardless of the color of the skin, the Person inside the room is the same in all.

It means that salvation is open to the Jew as well as the Greek (Gentile....us)

We can only be one in Christ when we turn from our sins (i.e. homosexuality) and turn to Christ for forgiveness.

The bible specifically says that women should remain silent in the churches and should not be in any authoritative role in it

If Jews accept Christ like we do....then they are welcome into the same heaven that we are going to

Fundies like to think that they are better. They like the world to have their sort of order. They like Christianity to be interpreted their way.

They are afraid; fear-filled creatures striving to find a god to back up their position, picking and choosing from scripture to support their point and to keep them safe from reality.
