I guess it depends. If you want to stay on her good side you should probably shut up.
I used to drive my wife nuts, because she would drag me to Church, and I'd usually end up in an argument with someone in sunday school.
It would generally be due to some christofascist idiot babbling about something having to do with the war in Iraq, and how God was on our side or some nonsense - I would point out how hypocritical it was for a christian to be so filled with hate, and to support invading and occupying a country that didn't attack us (usually ending with 'Who Would Jesus Bomb?').
That would usually set them off - and meanwhile my wife (who is christian, while I am obviously not) would be sitting there embarassed.
Fact is - I'm not going to sit there and listen to some bullet-head spewing B.S., no matter where I am.

Trust you wife's judgment and don't embarrass yourself or her. Speak only if the floor is open for discussion and then don't hog the forum. Keep quiet and listen to the lesson, that's why you are there. God bless.

Always listen to your wife in Sunday School. If you don't know the social norms, she does and will help you not look foolish.

Well, ideally there would be a discussion, and you could speak up. But keep quiet rather than whisper; whispering is bad manners.

Show the consideration that students should show in a teaching class. If you have a question or comment, raise your hand and give it.
