I guess people just don't want to take responsibility for their part in things, it takes too much guts and of course scapegoats are the easy option for lazy people, nobody can expunge another persons crimes, you can lay the blame on someone else you can stitch someone else up but you are still guilty.

I rather choose a scapegoat that seems to be the fashion these days.
However, I am held to standard that demands of me to accept the fact we are all to blame for society's problems.

It makes life easier. And people are all about easy. Zero responsibility culture. Just look at the school system. :)

it's easier for xians to blame gays for everything (ala pat robertson and jerry falwell) rather than acknowledge all the hate and evil that xians do to others. and their own rampant sinning, of course. can't talk about that!!

I suppose that it's human to think that we needn't be responsible, sort of like children.
