it does that every time i open my computer or when i try to open an e-mail. I have windows xp

Uh... There is no such thing as Office 2002.

There is Office XP that came out in 2001, and its programs are Word 2002, Excel 2002, and so on. However, it's called Office XP.

You must have installed Office 2003 or some sort of update for it to ask you about that.

It seems as thought it is trying to install some features that are found on the CD..

Can you put here what CAB file it is looking for?

You can try running the LIS (Local Installation Source) Took.. to try and fix this.

Also, you say you are running Office 2002, I presume you mean Office XP?
