ok i'm not to sure i understand the problem. If your boyfriend is getting upset because you were a few minuets late in calling him then I think you need to talk to him about that it sounds a little nurotic to me.
That's just silly. Tell him how silly it seemed to you and that you are in a job where you need to wait for someone else and sometimes in life things take longer then expected.

It's called possesive and jealousy. Obviously, he's managed to keep you in the dark until now and his true colors are shining through. Preventive medicine is the best medicine, I've been down this road and the ending is not pretty. Ladies, when a man wants to know your every move, every second of every minute of every hour this is leading no where. STOP! by the time it gets out of hand you will be nursing your wounds.

You didn't do anything wrong. Hes gotta understand that life isn't on a schedule and things change. He shouldn't throw a fit over 3 minutes over what you said. Do you all have a lot of fights? He shouldn't get mad over something so small. Kinda Immature.

Sounds like he gets angry quite easily. I say drop him before things get worse, or at the very least, talk to him about managing this issue. It's not your fault that you didn't call him within exactly 5 minutes and to be honest, it shouldn't even matter.
Whatever you do, don't ignore this - it will most likely get worse.
Best of luck â¥

i know lots of guys who are like this. they feel they have to be in control ALL THE TIME. if you say a certain time, you better be there because they will throw a little hissy fit. they think that the girl is lying to them and doing something other then what they said they were. i was just in this situation yesterday. i told my dad i was going to be home by 4:00pm. he said that was fine. and i was 30 minutes late because i had to give my friend a ride home. he went crazy. idk i just think guys have too bad of tempers. don't let this incident ruin your relationship with him ok? because i know that's not what you want. i hope things truly get better. Good luck!!

Pardon me but just cuz hes your boyfriend doesnt mean you need to explain and defend yourself that you were a mere 2-3 minutes past your time... sounds kind of controlling.

Maybe he was on a tight time schedule? However, he should appreciate that you called to update him when the time ran longer, so that he wouldn't wait and worry.

He is being a little to overprotective with you. He must think like maybe something is going to happen between you two. I guess he really loves you.

hes very jealous or has those tendacies....just say sorry baby and leave it at that.....but if you talk to him at every single minute of the day i think yoiu need to cut that out...thats a control tactic that controling men like to do to keep tabs on what they see as theres....if talking to him and saying your sorry doesnt work you might have more issues on your hands than you know........

If he really got mad then ask him if he is stressed out about anything else, and then apologize, and help him with that. But, liek if he wasn't really that mad then just apologize, and then don't stress, and/or worry about it
