Why do people think that the Middle Easterns are the terrorists and the main cause of the problems?????????

Isn't it AMERICA that went into Iraq and demanded something that did not belong to them???? They wanted Iraqs oil and when Iraq didnt give it to them they caused a war!!! War is always the answer for America. Also, the american soldiers (HEROES MY ***) kill innocent children in the streets and shoot harmful animals FOR FUN!!!!!!! I saw a video of american soldiers in Iraq shooting a stray dog for fun and they were laughing while the dog was howling in pain!! That is torture!!! A hero would be someone who protects their country from danger not lead them into it. By going into Iraq first and making the first violent move, AMERICA is causing more danger for themselves. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying the Middle Easterners are all that great either with all their suicide bombings that are killing their own people as well and not only their enemy. Also they are fighthing against each other, the shiites and the sunis. Instead of working together they go against each other.

By the way, I'm not saying ALL Americans are bad and ALL soldiers are cruel...just the majority of what I have seen and heard. I know there are some good hearted people out there who try to use as little violence as possible.

Not all, just the majority of the Americans shoot dogs. In all my years in the army I have never seen a single case of a soldier shooting a dog, but in Iraq the majority of the soldiers do it - - - strange.
I see you're using that worn-out BS about Iraq oil. America is spending many times more money trying to get things straightened out for the benefit of the Iraqis, than the value of the oil. If you care to mention the reason for America being over there ( and I'm sure you don't ) just remember the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Those murderers were trained and financed by Iraq.

Gee hon its war!!! Yeah its not pretty and its not fun and its not a good thing but the reality is that the US did not and does not "have" the oil from Iraq. I dont know where you are from but if your country went to war there would be just as many instances of bad behavior.

The world out there thinks they know what is what and that here in America we are stupid. Well if thats the case then why do so many countries come to us for help, why do we pay out the butt for other countries peoples to eat and have medical care( some get better medical than we the citizens do), we give and give and give and the more we do for others the more people like you rag on us. Now in answer to your original question -we think middle easterners are terrorists because the terrorists who attacked us were middle easterners and because the people in the mid east continue to state in the media and where ever they can that they hate us and want to kill us. If Iraq wants us to go home they should stop killing each other and we will gladly and I mean gladly bring our brothers, husbands and fathers home.

Now it's US' obligation to get its own mess cleaned up. The soldiers are there to do the dirty work, not those who created the problem. I feel sorry for some of the soldiers behavior, but it's forgiveable as they are so young and have to face daily death threat in a foreign country.

Back to your question why people think Middle Easterns are terrorists... Americans believe in "my way or high way" and "if you are not with us you are against us". It's bad enough for Bush to say so, and it's worse that so many ordinary people also believe in such black-and-white simple solutions.

It was mainly people from Saudi Arabia, our friend, that flew the planes into the World Trade Center. That did not, however, give the U.S. cause to invade Iraq. People were lead by the Bush administration to believe that Iraq had something to do with the attacks and they would soon invade the U.S. It was propaganda utilized for whatever reason to get us involved in Middle Eastern affairs.

Americans are undereducated about world geography and culture. They equate Middle Easterners with Islam and Islam with terrorism. THere are people in the middle east who are not Muslim, there a millions of Muslims who are not Middle Eastern and there are terrorists from all of those countries, and there are millions of Muslims that are appalled at jihadism in the way it is being perpetrated right now.
And we didn't go into Iraq for oil. Iraq doesn't have a great deal of oil anyway. Why do you think they invaded Kuwait? Because KUWAIT has the oil fields. We didn't get oil from Iraq before the war and we dont' now. In fact nobody is right now because insurgents have struck so many of the pipelines. The top 3 countries we get oil from are 1) Venezuela, 2) Nigeria, 3) Russian (Siberian oil fields). Saudi Arabia is #4 and we get only 12% of our oil supplies from them. It is other countries, our trading partners who don't have the means to protect their supplies such as Japan and Britain that get their oil from the Middle East.
We went into Iraq because in 1992 they had weapons of mass destruction. They kicked out inspectors and no one pushed to get them back in to monitor those weapons. After 9/11 we became very worried that those weapons could still be there and maintained and that as batty as Hussein was, he could offer to sell them to highest AlQueda bidder just to do something bitter to us. Finally the UN pushed to have inspectors sent back in. The Iraqis were sending the inspectors back and forth between sites and ducking around corners, the weapons were not presented, but no proof was presented about them either being: a)relocated, b) destroyed, or c) degraded by time. Just because they were not found does not they were not or are not there. They could be hidden almost anywhere Iraq has the square milage of California and Hussein has several deep, deep bunker that have been found around the country. There is also no telling that any part of his aresenal could have been moved out of the country to anywhere or anyone in the months between when we said we were coming after him and when we finally entered the country.
