Dan Brown, the author of "The DaVinci Code," is a very good writer of fiction.
Do not confuse his books with reality.
The Da Vinci Code is filled with lies and half truths about Christianity, the Catholic Church, and even Leonardo Da Vinci.
Many people are taking this fictional book and movie as fact and are using some of its very strange theories to attack Christianity and the Catholic Church.
Do a quick search in Yahoo Answers and you will see some of these attacks.

Oh geesh! No, I do not believe in the mystery which claims that Mary Magdaline is in that picture as it is written as to who was there! I do not believe that she and Jesus shared a relationship either...no way!
As for the feet of Jesus, I have no clue what the heck you are speaking of here! I do know that Jesus washed the feet of His disciples that night! But, other than that, I think he had feet for pete's sake!

Jesus did have feet the painting of the last supper is incorrect according to history.
During all meals back then guests sat on pillows or blankets, never at a table, and the painting is just some ones view of that supper, Mary may have been there.

The picture of the Last Supper was not painted at the actual happening...but, hundreds of years later...
I see no mystery to it....just an artists rendition of possible verbal clues to who may or may not have been present etc...
It wasn't like someone brought out a polaroid, and said..."say cheese"

because feet are very hard to paint and time consuming. Or maybe di vinci missed a spot.
