i dont understand. dont they feel wrong when they participate in such evil?

Satan comes as an angel of light.
I know many people in the New age movement and are into mediums and other darkness.
Many have said they've had a spiritual experience which makes the occult real. They don't realize that experience may be from Satan not God!
Sad. they are being fooled.

It would be very hard to "join the occult" since it is a very diverse kind of movement you are referring to there. If someone reads their horoscope prediction I really do not think they see it as "joining the occult".
Further the occult is not a movement with some centralized authority. If you try to join it you will have great difficulty. Occultism encompasses certain methods lets call them "occult sciences" and these would include astrology, divination, magic and alchemy. Anyone who is actually involved with these kinds of disciplines will understand why they are not the kind of "evil" you refer to.

It's not evil. You only define it as evil because you have no understanding of occultism.

if you are referring to Pagans, what we do is not evil. Do some research and see for your self. Open your mind a little and realize there are other religions out there

Mostly they really like Christ and want to express their love in new ways.
Oh! Did you mean non-Christian occultists? I thought with things like the DaVinci Code those things were off the radar.

Their mommies and daddies didn't pay them enough attention when they were little kids. Now they are begging the world for attention by doing bad things, e.g. worshiping Satan.
They need to grow up and get a job.

they dont know its a cult when they join. Just as many in mainstream religions dont realize they are in a cult.
