You need to plan better. Fast food is a trap for those of us who don't have time to prepare a 3 course meal and want to have dinner/lunch quick. Try planning out your meals before your next grocery store trip. I go twice a month so I paln for two weeks at a time. You will be surprised what meals you can prepare in 20 min. if you are prepared. I have a book called 20 min meals for dummies and it has many quick & easy things to make. Also don't forget about lunch. Plan things you can make quickly & bring along. I ate fast food just about every day for years and I can't begin to tell you how much my health deteriorated. Good luck

Fast food is so quick and easy...I completely see your problem! I say that you should make sure you have handy food at home. Spend a few hours a week getting things ready (cut veggies, bag up single servings) to make fast food at home! If you do healthier things for yourself and put a little effort into it, you might be able to get over the hump. It's REALLY hard though, so I understand your pain! LOL

I did it cold turkey for almost 5 years straight. Now I eat salads and deserts occasionally from different fast food chains. Watch the film Supersize Me or Fast Food Nation and you will be so grossed out that it wont be difficult to let go. It worked for me.

For starters, I would have you purchase the movie "Super Size Me" and watch it a few times. It's quite an eye opener regarding the fast food industry. especially McDonalds.

McDonalds food=JUNK!

That me got me off of fast food for quite awhile. I think its time for me to watch it again since I have been eating fast food twice a week lately. That's too much.

Do a search of calories and fat that are in fast food. I know that once you see how terrible it is for you, you wont want to eat it so often. I had a class and saw how much crap is in fast food and I now do not eat it that often at all. It is terrible for you.

Pack a lunch. Eat before you go out. And just keep driving past them. The main thing is will power.

Simple, don't have enough money or your credit card on you. We only eat out once or twice a year because we cannot afford it. Think of all the money you save.

Try to think of how the workers make the burgers or any sandwiches. Think they dont wash their hands.

You should eat breakfast, even if it is just a quick little cereal bar just eat something! It really does help! ^_^
