Putting a quran under your pillow will not protect you that way. and most importantly it isnt respectful of Allah's words. Reading the quran and praying will protect you better. Put your quran in a more respectful place. On your bedside table is better than under your pillow.

You shouldn't think that a physical object can protect you, only God can. To think that is akin to shirk. It is the words in the Quran that can protect you. Read it before going to sleep, and set the Quran somewhere safe (not under your pillow! It may fall onto the ground).

Only Allah the protects you. Instead of putting the Quran under a pillow you have to have taqwa. Read the Holy Quran instead and understand it that will inshallah benefit you.

Actually it is to be put on the upper shelf or the upper stack of books. If you disrespect the Koran & put it under your pillow, your life could be at risk.

No it isn't, the Quran is holy and sacred and should be treated with full respect and must always be kept covered and in a clean safe place.

Nah. Muslims are not suppose to put anything on top of it. It has to be treated with the utmost care and respect as it is the word of Allah (SWT).

I guess it depends on what you think you need protection from.
It's not going to help much if someone breaks into your house and starts shooting you.

no its not right, becuase the quaran is always supposed be above you, its a sin to have the quaran under you, so i would say put it on a shelf.....
