The only ones that I know for sure ascended to heaven without dying were Jesus, Elijah and Enoch. Mary died just like Peter, Paul, David, Joseph and all the others.

It was Ascension Sunday last week. It marked Jesus going into heaven after the ressurection. He entered in the flesh, as did The Blessed Virgin Mary.

No. Numbers make some issues relaxing, some are stupid, and a few advise issues. ... As a Christian that does have confidence that God makes use of evolution (yea, I stay in TN so this may be heracy grin) yet from the technology of existence, evolution proceeds in a sluggish %.. countless 'small evolutionary experiments' ensue each and every of the time, yet none look consistent with any particular dates or numerology.

Jesus "Ascended" into heaven; meaning He's God and can move through the realms at will.
Mary (Mother of God) was "Assumed" by Jesus ... meaning that Jesus choose her and brought her to heaven body, mind, and soul. She could not do this without Jesus. We all hope Jesus will "Assume" us like He did Mary.
