If you work on the idea that the serpent was Lucifer, they both free'd man kind from something in that mythology.
Both are known as "The Morning Star."
Both are favored creations.

1. Both were created as perfect spirit sons of God (angels).
2. Both were around for the creation of the Earth and mankind.
3. Both were faithful until Satan (Lucifer) became jealous of the glory and worship that was rightfully God's, and incited Adam and Eve to sin.
That's where the similarities stop.
Oh, they are both referred to as the "morning star," but in different scriptures/meanings.

They were both around before the creation of the world. They are both mentioned in the bible. Jesus said he saw satan fall from heaven like a star.
That's all I cant think of.

CHRISTIAN TRINITY
God the Father = Judge/Punisher (in OT)
Jesus the Son = Creator/Saviour/Love
Holy Spirit = Preserver/Source of Miracles
HINDU TRINITY
Shiva = Punisher/destroyer
Brhama = Creator/Love
Vishnu = Preserver/Source of Miracles
This is much like the Christian trinity of God as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The trinity represents the Divine in its threefold nature and function. Each aspect of the trinity contains and includes the others.

i believe they were both equal in RANK of spiritual beings..sort of the likes of sons of GOD..yet..lucifer choose to exalt(pride) himself higher than the creator...so now..by one act of wrong/sin..he is fully evil in extreme ways..and jesus..who is the words...became a man..and lived among men..seeing..hearing..feeling the weakness of man nature..fullfilled the prophecies 300 of them..and rose from earth to heaven..well..hell to heaven. anyway..lucifer is surely a fool. and god using men to put satan in a box..or pit of hell..remember time didn't exist before human existance. GOD using man..to box satan in..and conquer satan..JESUS is the FIRST MAN from the dead..and we in him..(spirit beings) shall rule..over many cities..as the parable of 5 and 2 talents..sorry off subject..but the true goals of GOD..is man dominion on the earth again..not over men..but under GOD WE TRUST...lol.l

there is nothing similar about them.
God is great, and he wants the best for all his children.
satan is just an angel that wanted to be God and got thrown out of heaven.

They are completely OPPOSITE.
Lucifer- evil, prideful, fallen, liar, devil
Jesus- perfect, sinless, Holy, God, Just
They do NOT relate. And Jesus is NOT satan's brother as some cults will tell you he is.
This is unbiblical, and if you are being told this from anyone, please get out of that church!
