OKay, I'll answer. How about a top 5 or 5 drivers you'll see in the top 10. It's hard to to bet against Jimmie Johnson as winner, although I'd like to see someone new with a win this year, but despite that I think he has the edge for winner. Four other drivers who will finish in top 10: Mark Martin, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, and Matt Kenseth. Out of these drivers I think Mark Martin has the best shot at spoiling JJ's day. ;)
Look for Tony Stewart, Jeff Burton, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, and Kyle Busch to also be very strong.
Engine failure could throw a monkey wrench in the whole race. Some drivers are over drawn at the luck bank. ( As ole' DW would say) Somebody surprising is going to have a hard luck day, it always happens in the 600. Also somebody who has had a hard luck year will also be bitten. Like I said it always happens that way.

O.K, my pick for the All Star race will be my pick for the 600 or ANY OTHER race at Lowe's Motor Speedway as long as they can still strap him into the driver's seat. Jimmie Johnson is without a doubt the closest thing to a sure deal as you will find racing there. He has a 1.2857142... average finish over his last 7 races there. I know he sucked there last year (2 second place finishes) but he won it 5 times in a row before that plus a couple of All Star races. His worst ever finish there was 7th and that was his first time seeing the track. When he won the All Star race there las year that would have been 6 Lowe's wins in a row before Kasey won the last 600.

There is no doubt that Jimmie Johnson will win. However, if Johnson has some sort of problem like a fender rubbing a tire or some other issue that won't take him out of the race then it will be difficult for him to win as evident in the All-Star Challenge.
Johnson's main threat is gonna be the 17 car of Matt Kenseth. He had the field covered in the All-Star race and would have easily won if not for his speeding penalty. Other challengers will be Mark Martin, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon and Kevin Harvick. Track position will be key as well as tires

Jimmy Johnson is the safe bet; since he is probably a win away from having the track named after him.
Watch for Matt Kennseth (well, you should always watch for Matt; Mr. Consistent). He looked strong early in the Challenge then faded; I am sure Robby Reiser will have the fixed by game time.
Jeff Gordon, his car was flying until he got the flat. However he did have the overheating issue at Richmond; can't get away with that at Lowes. But, barring any problems he is the man to win the race.

Unfortunately I'm picking Jimmie Johnson. As they say this is Jimmie's house. I really hope Jeff Gordon whips his a**! (Anyone else for that matter will be okay too)!
