It could mean he isnt interested or he just dont feel it wouldnt work out due to lack of chemistry. However he finds you do have a measure of good qualities.

A) Low self-image for the guy. Little self worth or self esteem. Maybe really believe's he can't give you what you want/need.

or

B) He's trying to seperate in a way that keeps you up on a pedestal because he would rather spare your feelings and still end things than end on a bad note.

Solution: Assure him that what he can give IS what you need/want, assuming you are interested. Battling with the self is an issue that the individual must solve, but can always have help from outside influences.

Yeah. Hmm Huh. Yup, he's given you the plan-x from planet X.

Serious you say? OK. He's dumping you, being an Ahole about it with cynicism. If you buy into the special part, he'll tell all his buddies about how easy you are.

It had a better dramatic effect with the Plan-X, don't you think?
.
.
If he thought you were special enough, you'd still be his.

I have had that told to me, it just meant he was getting rid of me. That is usually what it is. But just because he doesnt think you are special doesnt mean other people dont. You are special... everyone is.

You always keep the special girl, and tell the other they are special as you break up with them

He is trying to be nice, but he is not interested. You are special. We all are in our own way. Accept his rejection and move on. You will find someone who finds you special AND wants to be with you.

He's trying to let you off nicely and let you keep your self esteem.
It is one of the more classy ways to break it off with you. Respect him for that. Some on here will probably criticize him for being dishonest but that is not the case.

well the truth is ,
your second guess right there. he does not like the girl but dunt want to hurt her or being mean and trying to be nice by saying that. you know face it, no guy will say "i dunt deserve you because you are too great", if she is that great like he said, he'll be already dying to be with her.
