Part of the difficulty is that countries which need to take in immigrants are intersested in getting as many well-educated highly-skilled people as possile . On the other hand , countries capable of providing the greatest number of people are often poor and underdeveloped so that most of the hopeful emigrants have nothing more to offer than their unskilled labour . The result of this is that the more developed countries rarely use up their ' quota ' of potential emigrants , while the ;ess developed ones not only exceed it , but have an enormous waiting-list .

Emigration can be a serious concern for a country. The 'brain drain' effect - when the people leaving your country are your best educated and most ambitios - is particularly troubling.

Emigration can be a positive for a country that is suffering from overpopulation, or is facing racial violence or other conflicts that might be resolved by having a portion of it's population simply leave.

The reverse of the brain-drain: purging your nation of unesireables by encouraging them to go elsewhere, has also been tried (Cuba), but not with any great success.

Advantages - it is somewhere new and exciting. Greenhouses smell nice. They are warm in the winter. Disadvantages - your bottom would be pressed against the glass and it could cause a stir among those that can see. It can be too hot in summer. It is often kind of messy and cluttered in there so you'll be knocking things over. I think you are onto something there, but do it at night.
