Facial palsy means a damage to the VII cranial nerve (facial).

Its reversibility is related to its cause. Bell palsy has an unknown cause but is very reversable. Palsy due to an stroke, for example, is not so much. Whatever the cause is, needs physiotherapy.

my daughter got this and was back to normal in about 2 weeks. it's called bells palsey. go to webmd.com for more information. good luck!
