If you don't think you can control your dog and prevent him from mating a female dog, then do it around 7 months.

If you are sure you want your dog neuatered the time to do it is at 6 months of age but there has been new studies that suggest to wait until your dog becomes at least 1 year old.

Ask your vet. I had a vet once who was against neutering on principle. As a result, I left it a bit late for my boy. He was about 14 months when I neutered him, and I think he has been confused ever since. It did calm him down a bit though.

I know we neutered at 5 months cause he was showing signs of mounting our 2 yr old spayed female . I would do it asap.

You need to get him neutered as soon as possible or he will be a dad before you know it.

check with ur local vet..as some vets do neuter as early as 5 months....

8-16 weeks you want to do it early if not his testicles will drop and he will roam and wonder.you may want to consider laser surgeon it will be the best for the dog.

All the six months crap is to get it done BEFORE they are six months.
