Do not single out Mexicans because they are "Stealing our Jobs". People are just too proud to do the jobs that they are doing. So don't be mad cause they are cleaning your home or cooking your food in restauraunts. What about the Middle Easterners owning all of the gas stations, or the Eastern Indians taking all of the tech jobs, or all of the Phillipinos working at all of the hospitals. Should I go on. We all were illegal at one point in time. I am American with no Latino background at all but I still say gett off the Mexicans.

First of all, I do live in Los Angeles. Born and Raised!!!!! Second, we all were illegal at one point unless you are American Indian and I apologize. Anyone who thinks we just magically appeared in this country is mislead and confused. No one is "Native" anymore. So anyone who thinks their ancestors have been here all along, must be NATIVE American.....

i wrote this loonnngggassss answer, basically trashing the ignorance of this country as a whole, it magically deleted..therefore, i shal limit what i as panamanian would actually say to them...
and say this...we should all aspire to be what Mejicanos are, you hateful bastards, spit on them, make racist jokes at their cost, humiliate them, treat them with the least amount of dignity and respect that even criminals are given, you laugh at their accents, you find it amussing when you immitate them, have as many racist names for them that are used on a daily basis but no one is loosing their job for using them....

After 9/11 it was scary to be Middle Eastern in appearance. Now , because of mismanagement by our legislature for the last 20 years, it is getting dangerous to be Mexican. Do not think that all this angry chatter about Hispanics will not give license to a Neanderthal socio-path to lash out at some unsuspecting person whose only crime is that they may "look" Hispanic will give all the anti-immigration crowd something to cheer about. Maybe they can get their children brown shirts to wear and they can point out all the suspected illegals at school and the mall. As far as the jobs are concerned, it's like a spoiled child that discards a toy and finds a sibling has picked it up to play with and then suddenly deciding that that toy is it's favorite and will do anything to get it back. Keep up the volatile rhetoric and even my third generation Hispanic nephews and nieces will have a target on their backs.

Because of statistics. Of the illegal aliens in this country, 90% are Mexicans. It is not racism, it is simply a fact. Also, the government of Mexico endorses the act of illegally entering the US and actually publishes comic books with information on how to get in, where to go once in, and how to avoid capture and deportation once in the US. I am not racist but the numbers are what they are, I hope you understand why Mexicans are mentioned when the topic comes up now. It doesn't make you a racist to point out the truth about an issue.

There is a big difference between an immigrant who came over here legally and an illegal immigrant who is breaking the law by being here illegally. It's the uncontrolled border crossings that have everyone fired up. Without reform, we could be letting some really dangerous poeple into the U.S. along with the ones with good intensions. It doesn't matter if they're Mexicans or Martians. Do it right.

Why does you come on here then? Good God man, when you learn to speak English maybe you'll have a real voice. And since you hate everyone equally, would you mind if we just ignored you from now on? Mexicans are the greatest offenders, even the Middle Easterners as you call them haven't asked us to change our language or schools for them. And no, we weren't all illegals, have you even read American history? Any history? A book? Maybe you should take a course on economics, too. Because people are closed minded, and choose only to focus on the Mexican Illegals. We have Illegal Immigrants from every country, and they are just as much a part of the problem as the Mexicans are. We need to focus on the problem, not on the race, then and only then can we start to solve the issue.

I've never been illegal, and it's funny that you should leave off the word "Illegal" in your original question.
I don't think anyone has a problem with immigrants, illegal immigrants is another story.
If you're going to come here do it legally, pay taxes and become a citizen.

Cuz they are causing all the problems. They are filling the prisons at alarming rates, pushing drugs, and killing people. They are the ones making the bad impressions. I mean, lets not forget the fact that they broke the law when they entered this country illegally. So, are we really racist because they are slowly destroying this country? Or is it that you can't come up with a sufficient argument, so as a copout, and inability to come up with legitamate facts you want to try and call anyone who is againts this issue racist? Come on try harder, get some facts to support why you think the illegal factor of this issue should be overlooked. Until then, quit crying.

Mexicans make up about 75% of the illegals, so I lot of the questions address this fact.
