I listen to it all the time, but I also listen to contemporary christian.

Even I'm not Christian, I've heard this kind of music, and i can tell you it's great, because i don't see why religion has to be in disagreement with fun, their lyrics are beautiful and the music's great. I totally like it!!

As a Christian I personally feel that most Christians music sucks. It has nothing to do with the words but I like music in general. With many Christian bands the music isn't anything special. Any 4 or 5 guys can play what they are playing, then again that's like most everything on the radio today.

Some Christian music is actually quite good..which is funny since I'm a pretty left-wing Atheist. My favorite all time band is U2, and Bono's been quoted as referring to U2 as a Christian band many times. I also like Jars of Clay, DC Talk, Collective Soul..all Christian bands that have gotten decent radio play, and deservedly so since they're music is great and it's not the average raunchy, swear-filled trash that's on most radio stations lately. Even as an Atheist I can appreciate music with a message , although I don't necesarily participate in the religion itself.

Well, as a musician myself, I've often considered putting together a Christian band.
The reason I say this is because Christian music is populated with second-rate musicians that couldn't get a recording contract otherwise. But if they claim to be Christians, they'll get recorded by the Christian companies, and get to live the dream, including nailing bible groupies on tour.
(You don't think those Christian rock bands are actually believers, do you)? :)

Im an atheist. But, I dig on POD and Creed wasnt half bad when they were out - before the lead singer got caught making porns with Kid Rock, of course....
Some pious guy he was, eh? Booed off stage for being so drunk he forgot his own lyrics...
