My father is a racist and he doesnt aprove of our relationship for obvious reasons. Anyway, I agree with her, I dont really want the baby around that but my mom and grandparents really want to see the baby. How should I handle this situation?

Oh, I should probably add that, my mom is paralized and my dad wont bring her to our house.

I would take the baby over to see your mom and your grandparents or yuo could pick your mom up and bring her to your house for the day and let her enjoy some time with her new grandbaby. Tell your father the world is not black and white no more its full of color and he needs to open his eyes and realize that everyone is the same no matter what there color is. Tell him its fine if he dont approve of your relationship but that he better not take it out on your child the child didnt ask to be born into a family with a racist asshole for a grandfather. One day he will open his eyes and see what a jerk he has been especially if he is dying and it is a person of color other than his that saves his life.

Well to be fair to you fiance I wouldn't want my child anywhere near them sorry, but in your mums defence wait while your father is out or at work, take your fiance and the baby with you to meet them all then for an hour or so. There is always a way around these things but never exclude your fiance do this is the family unit that you are now and good luck :)

Maybe you can arrange to take the baby when your father is gone and the grandparents can be there.

I would also tell the grandparents they can call and see the baby.

I would talk with your Dad and see if he thinks he can behave himself for a short visit. If he can't or won't agree, then don't do it.

See if you can't arrange for sometime when your dad will be out and your grandparents at your mom's house.... Then take the baby to see them

Good luck

Eventually that baby may melt his heart.

take the baby to see your mom, but stay for a day or so your mom sees the baby and you can leave the same day. Or send pictures by e mail. But try not to get your baby around people who are racists, it meses up the baby. Its like leaving a baby around people who curse and drink, you know how the baby will grow up!

Is your dad violently racist and would he hurt your child? If he expresses his views with words and not actions I would be more apt to take your child over under supervised conditions. Your mom and grandparents deserve a relationship with your child. You child deserves a relationship with them. Even more, it may turn out to be that your child will be the bridge that pulls grandpa into this century.

Take the baby to see its grandparents. Why should the baby and other relatives be punished because of your dad.

A Baby has a way of changing the way people see things... Take your baby to see your parents only if they agree to the conditions you and your finance set forth... and I would make one of the rules that the finance be there too...

Tell them that for your baby's safety that you can only allow them to see the baby if they come over without your father. I am sorry about your mom but your baby needs to come first.

Let your mom and grandmother see and visit your baby. Tell your dad to grow the f**k up and join the human race.
