First, keep in mind that this global warming hysteria that has sucked in too many people is still being reviewed by the scientific community to determine what the human impact is and what is a natural phenomenon.
There are, however, many things we all can do to take care of the planet, including recycling, consumption reduction, car pooling or public transit, and picking up litter that we find on a sidewalk or street and depositing it in a trash can. Little things that add up when each individual takes a personal interest in the health of the planet.
That said, Mother Nature will always find a way to take of the planet too, even if it means eradicating a polluting species.

demand solar and wind powered alternatives be installed in large corporate buildings and large corporate auto makers there have been alternatives for years as the asthma levels rise in the lungs of our global youth we should feel empowered to say "do it now!" the very finest oil refinest let these other environmentally friendly technologies lay dormant since the early 80s greed the motivator-perhaps but forget the finger blaming raise your finger towards that star in the sky to put power into all we do, drive, ride, fly and take a deep symbolic breath without coughing and praise our good men and women of OUR American government and other Europen nations for saying "we can" "we Will " "we did it"
Toast that fresh glass of water up above our heads on that day and say "i drink this clean glass of water for all".. Solar the smartest alternative. Rebates for all now!! Go Nancy Pelosi The New Reparent Mother of those who were not taught right!!!

recyclye yout newspapers and trash and plastic and aluminum, or buy a hybrid or electric vehicle. Those are probably the easiest ways to make an impact. You can also volunteer with environmental companies so you can help lobby for laws and politicians that support green environments. If the right people make it into office then they can help create laws and support bills in congress an the senate that follow your beliefs for helping the environment. Also they have days of walking on the beach and picking up trash that people leave behind.

try to use paper instead of styrofoam for cups, and use paper instead of plastic bags for the grocery store. Some stores like lululemon and trader joe's actually give you stuff for bringing bags back to the store to bring your bought items out with, instead of using new bags every time. All of these things can help the environment.

take care

We can't stop so called global warming. It is caused by the SUN. Other planets near the sun are also getting warmer. Our earth has been getting warmer sense the end of the last ice age.

Do the little things. Turn off lights when you're not using them. Ride a bike/walk as much as you can and drive your car as little as possible. Also, get invovled with voting on local and state legislation that promotes the development of green energy and better allocation of energy resources. Also try and buy products that have been produced with energy efficient techniques and environmentally friends methods (such as organic foods). If we all do the little stuff it adds up to everyone doing a lot.

I think that we as citizens can only do so much, which includes:

-recycle
-reuse
-donate (rather than throw away things that can't be recycled)
-unplug electronics that aren't being used
-turn off the fauset when brushing your teeth
-ride your bike to work and the store

Start small, spread ice cubes in your bird bath, so birds will get used to really cold water...when that ice comes down from up north it isn't going to be a pretty sight!
