Oh and by the way, when Jesus rose into the sky and became a god did he go up with his earth body? And just the clothes he was wearing?

Does he still have that earth body?

When he comes back will he have that earth body?

Does anybody else in heaven have an earth body?

Earlier I posted a list of 40 failed prophecies of Jesus's return.

I'll spare the list, since most people didn't bother to read it, and just gave my post a thumbs down.

Some people thought Jesus wouldn't come at all the first time, either.

Just because he hasn't come back yet doesn't mean he won't.

It's like death in that you know without a doubt it will happen someday-- you just don't know exactly when. Only Christ coming back is much more glorious than death!

When Jesus ascended back to heaven, he was already God and didn't become one. I believe he went back to heaven just the way he looked on earth, and I believe that when he returns, he will look as he did on earth, only this time, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

No I packed my clothes but my earth body would not fit...I think the real question should be if he walked into Times Square and stood on a box on New Years eve and proclaimed.."I am Christ and I have returned to save you.", would he be in shouted down, in jail the next morning or see the light of day after being committed?

Jesus is the Word of God. God is Elohim. God the Father Word & Holy Spirit.

Jesus, in His resurrected human unperishable body (not earthly) is ascended to heaven & is sitting at the right hand of God. When He comes back, He will be in the Glory of God and also in His resurrected body (abour 7 ft tall). The antichrists will fry when they see Jesus in the glory & brightness of His returning. And everyone will see Him. At that time, most if not all, has rejected Him, so they will groan & mourn.

No earthly body is in heaven. We, who believe in the resurrected Jesus, will be transformed/metomorphed into an everlasting body, soul & spirit; and be resurrected in the likeness of our resurrected Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. This is the 1st Resurrection complete. I do believe in the rapture is before the beast & false prophet & before Jesus returning.

Also, Jesus did raise up an unperishable body, soul & spirit when He raised from the dead. Just ask doubting Thomas. You can't feel a spirits wounds. But you can feel a physical everlasting body.

Jesus is coming back whether you believe it or not, and he's coming back much sooner than this world believes. As for the details we can't be exactly sure but we'll find out soon enough.

To answer the first question, no, I had not heard that.

Second question, yes, but he was God even before he went into the sky.
Third question, yes.
Fourth question, yes
Fifth question, yes.
Sixth question, yes: Elijah and Enoch.

Carson 123: I get the sense when Dubious posted this question he was fulfilling the prophecy Jesus laid out in the first two verses you quote.

...Don't be surprised when He appears, observe, from 2 Peter 3:
**
...3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts,
...4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation."
**
...8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
...9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
**
...10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.
***
...Read and heed friend; if you don't, you have only yourself to blame.
**
...Believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved. Acts 16:31
**
...Whosoever will, may come.

When Christ rose from the dead he did not have an Earth Body. He was a spirit. There will be not Earth bodies in Heaven. It is a spiritual body.

Jesus' return is someting that means differnt things to differnt denominations based upon how they interpret the scriptures.

For me, Christ has returned in the form of the church, often called the body of Christ in scripture. Equally, the Kingdom of God is present now, which is also scriptural.

It is literalist Christians who look skyward and await a rapture. But then they also tend to be so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good. There are denominations that do not look at the scripture in that way.
