I love dogs so much more than most humans. I think a lot of people do when you see them out walking with them, they really are a man's best friend. (do love my human family as well )

Part of it is down to cultural differences I guess... I used to live in England (I'm half English/half French) where many people felt the same way as you and I, you know, preferred animals to humans. Now, back in France, every time I mention this people think I'm a weirdo and that I hate humans! Although I spend my whole life and travels rescueing animals of all sorts, I don't harm any humans whereas Angelina Jolie rescues kids but also enjoys a good bird hunt every now and again with hubby Brad on Madonna and Guy Ritchie's land but this doesn't seem to bother anyone! I can't say animals have never harmed me as I've been bitten/scratched/clawed loads of time but I have no problem whatsoever with that. Whereas if a human being is mean to me, I can bear a grudge against that person forever! So don't worry, you're not the only one to feel that way!

Nothing.

Dogs are generally good, but so are people. There's good and bad in both.

I just watched a dog maul a little child on TV. I'd have to take the side of the human in most cases myself even though I love dogs.

I guess you can't trust all dogs any more than you can trust all humans.

I think Dogs are great- I have 3 of my own and am going back to school to be a dog obedience trainer. Think the reasons dogs are so good are the same reasons you listed in my eyes everyone should have a dog then they would appreciate their actual being on this world

There is nothing wrong with that.

My dogs are my best friends. I love them more than most humans. I treat them like they are my children. If more people felt this way there would be far less dogs in the shelter.

I like people but I like my dogs more. They are good company, they don't argue, they are always happy to see me, they are never in a bad mood, they make me laugh, and in general they make me happy.

Sometimes I think dogs are smarter than most people.

There isn't a thing wrong with being as compassionate about dogs as humans.
I like dogs way better than some of the people that I meet.

You are not alone. I work with dog rescues and after we see what humans do to their animals we happen to love animals more than most humans. Your awesome :)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your attitude. I believe we should treat all people and all creatures on this earth with the same compassion and love.

I know it's an ideal, but it would be nice, wouldn't it?
