I recently asked this ? in surveys. Let's try again in "Law/Police. I worked as a medic for 25 years...big city. I have never , and do not know of any Paramedic who has transported a "pot" patient who actually required treatment. To the best of my medical knowledge, there exists no possible "Overdose". I would estimate that (because of the zones I worked in) nearly 30 to 40% of all runs I ever did were alcohol related. Police! My friends...my co-workers of so many years. You guys know the truth. I am not supporting the smoking of marijuana, strictly said, the less smoke in one's lungs, the better. Isn't all the effort and money spent less important than dealing with the really dangerous substances out there. Cops...a last ? Who are you likely to tangle with? A s-faced drunk or a pot smoker?

I'm not a cop but I do have some info for you. In all the studies done using marijuana the one test that has never been successfully completed is an "LD50" it's a required test by the FDA and virtually everything they have approved has an LD50. this test defines the amount required as a "Lethal Dose for 50% of the test group".McDonald's french fries have an LD50 as does aspirin but thus far no one has been able to give a massive enough dose of THC to test animals to kill them.
Just thought you'd like to know.

I would rather deal with 100 stoners than 10 drunks. The problem is that Alcohol has become as American as the flag and the superbowl. Pot might be legal someday, but not very soon. If you notice though, the punishments for less than an ounce have diminished down to petty offenses. Thats a start i guess.

The most relaxed, passive, and hungriest people I ever ever met were those that enjoyed a little weed. I can honestly say that I never ran into a problem with anyone who was strictly under the influence of marijuana.

I agree with you, but people have been saying tihs for a while, and I don't think the government is changing their mind. :(
