Being lied to is a break in trust. The fact that it is happening before marriage is a very very big warning sign. I am sure she and he like each other very much however I respect myself too much to allow someone to lie to me. If they lie about small things they will lie about big things. I had a friend that had met her husband but it was a long distance relationship. He sent her pictures of the house they would live in, told her about his job etc...etc... When they finally got married, and she moved down to his house she found out that it was not the house he showed her, he did not have the job he said, she that day left him. I respect her because, she had enough respect for herself to know that if he lied like that he would lie more possibly even cheat. If your friend will not listen then perhaps you could help her find out that he is lying. If she knows that he is lying then she must make her decision no matter what. You cannot make her only encourage her. That is what friends do.

It's not clear why you're so sure he's lying. First of all, you never pass on information which you have not garnered first hand. In other words, if a friend says she saw him with another girl, do not repeat it - it's gossip. But if YOU saw him with another girl, you have an obligation to tell her. However, if she doesn't listen, it becomes her responsibility. At some point, you may just want to agree not to discuss him.

In a situation like this, you can only try. If your best friend don't want to listen, let her make the mistake and learn!! If you get tooo involved, she will end up shutting you out or even blaming you in the future. So watch what you do/say. She might even think you are jealous of her and her man.....I suggest that you stay out of it and let her come to you instead.

This is hard.
Don't try to force your friend into thinking that this guy is bad for her, even if he is. If you have talked to her, then that's good.
Sometimes, you just gotta have to leave it in her hands, what ever happens will be for good. But be there to listen to her when she needs you. Ask her about what they do together and what he tells her. If its a big thing like "he's cheating on her" then get some proof to tell her about it, like pictures.
Be care full, you dont want to ruin your relationship with your friend.

If she won't listen to you ..a good friend, then let her find out the hard way. There's not much else you can do. When it's all over, just be a shoulder for her to cry on and none of those "I told you so's" and maybe next time she will take your advice.

That, my friend, is a very touchy subject. Because when you try to address the issue with them, if the love them and trust them then they usually get mad at you and accuse you of trying to break them up. I know it is hard to see your friend in that sort of relationship, but since you have tried talking to her about it and she isn't listening, just let it ride, she'll find out. Then just be there for her, she'll need you.

if she really doesn't wanna listen when you try to talk to her then just let her do what she wants. she will find out & learn eventually. just try to be the best friend you can be for now & in the end, hopefully she''ll realize that you were right & be thankful to have a friend like you :D good luck!
