Yes I do, and it only makes sense to me that he would. If we could not evolve and adapt to our environment we would never have survived. Despite what you read here, this is becoming the majority opinion of Christians in most mainline churches. In fact, that is where I first heard it discussed.

I think he could have if he thought that was the best way to get things done. I don't think anyone can claim to know how exactly God created the world. If evolution is true, then I believe that it is God that put it into motion and guided its development. Someday God will reveal to the world exactly how He did things--whether it was by evolution or not. Until then, I'm not really worried about it. To me, God created the world and it doesn't really matter what methods he used.

Being God, he could have done whatever he wanted, but he didn't create the world that way. Evolution is man trying to take God out of th e picture. God CREATED everything. Nothing evolved from anything else.

Dear orangeca,
Opinions are like armpits since everyone has one or two. But opinions do not have any merit. What does God say in the Bible? In Genesis 1 and 2 God clearly states that He created everything by just speaking it into existence. You have to remember, God is God. Furthermore, in John 1:1-3 God sumarrizes creation just in casr you did not read Genesis:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
I hope this helps you.

I used to believe that but no longer do. I don't have the time to answer this question the way it should be answered so I'll just say no, I don't believe that that is the way He created it. If you are seriously interested in this subject I can recommend some good books and DVDs. There's also a web sit called www.freecreationvideos.com. The book Tornado in a Junk Yard would be a good one for you to read, And The Privileged Planet can be read or watched on DVD. I hope you will look into it further. It's fascinating! Good luck and God bless.

I think it may be possible. No reason why not. I personally don't believe, but I will say, who knows I could be wrong. There's still a lot we don't know. If there IS a god. He would of HAD to create the world using evolution. It has been proved and is a fact. Look at the definition of a scientific theory.

I think that He could've created the world and then let it micro evolve. The Creation account says that He created all the animals, so that negates the single cell --> human theory. But changes within a species makes complete sense, can actually be proven, and does not contradict the Word of God.

Nope. God created the world simply because He's the Almighty God. Evolution is just a theory. The facts are, Creation not Evolution!

IMO we cannot begin to imagine the scope of our Creator's work, intelligence or intent. Biblical accounts are simplified by God for the audience at the time. Scientists have done well to put terms to things that are with some coming to believe in a Creator God after exhausting all probability.

No. If you are a Bible-believing Christian, then you are aware that God created the world in 6 days. He created man from nothing. Evilution has been a theory for some time, but has yet to be proven.

Evolution is a biological fact. It occurs every day and has been occurring for billions of years. As to what triggered it, if it was a natural process or a God, who's to say? No one can know the answer for sure.
