So your boyfriend is now married, and you are now cheating with a married man. Exactly why do you want him to still be your boyfriend and care what happens to him.
You boyfriend has committed fraud and can be put into jail and a huge fine. The women can be deported and never allowed to return. Even if no one finds out, they have to go through a long process to get her citizenship. It's not like the old days where it's automatic, there is even a chance she might not still get it. Your boyfriend isn't very smart, I hope you are and dump him.
Keep in mind they check these things very closely now. The immigration service will want to know about her past and how long she has been here and with whom. This has red flags all over it, they are very likely to get caught. That she was already in country and clearly here illegally is a huge black mark for her. I wouldn't bet that they give her citizenship even if they believe the marriage. Huge risk for little reward on you boyfriends part. He didn't think this through and had a false idea of how things work now days.

Big prison time. I would steer clear of a man that would put his future in jeopardy like that. People like that need caught. If they can't become citizens the legal way they don't need to be here at all. Your friend will be looking at his back til he gets caught. And askign such a question on a public forum like this can really bring him out as authorities keep a close eye on here and do know how to find you and get the info they need to bring him down. I would tell your so called boyfriend as long as he is in the postion he is in you can't be with him right now.

Thats usually how some ppl become citizens. But he has to married for a certain amount of time idk the exact time but lets just say like 7 years, than after that time period he can get a divorce and still be considered a US citizenship. But if he cheats the system and gets divorce be can go back to his country but when his country figures out what he has done it get be worse.
J/w? dont have to answer but what country is it.

I work for the Government, the Department of Homeland Security. We are on to your friend and know the whole story. We are in contact with the United States Attorney and expect to have warrants issued by the end of today (May 21). I hope your friend likes jail, because once we get these two prosecuted, that's where they are headed.
By the way, thanks for the tip.

He could go to jail and the girl could get deported - it's illegal to marry someone purely for U.S. citizenship. Immigration laws are getting tougher and tougher and they usually find out if it's a falsified marriage.

I think the woman would get in trouble more than he would. She may get sent back to wherever she came from. Somewhere along the way authorities are going to check to see if they are living together to make sure this marriage is real. Your boyfriend isn't very smart for doing this, but hey, we all make mistakes i guess.

It's a federal offense. He can go to prison. I have a friend whose friends did the same thing with some guys and they got caught. They are in prison now.

Honestly, don't waste your energy. You are not the "citizenship patrol". Let him deal with it. Not your problem.

wait...he got married to his friend's wife? then wasn't she already a citizen? well, unless his friend isn't a citizen. in any case, you don't usually marry your friend's spouse.
