They show respect to everything and everyone.
So atheists return said respect.

out of many reasons, they don't blatantly lie, just for the sheer delight in lying that say...A Christian...did when he stated that atheists believe in a communist government. I have never heard Buddhists so deliberately lie as the christian liars on here. people like that think they are fooling someone with there christian label, probably to get contacts and be "seen" at church. But someone who deliberately lies as such is a decrepit creature, worthy of no respect. Buddhists don't lie about people like A Christian.. does. I just can't stand liars, and 90% of lies here are by people professing the "christian"belief. It is not ignorance,it is just purely lying for the love of the lie..sickening

Buddhists don't bust people's balls to convert to their religion. They're naturalists, have a a strong faith in G-- and value the family and community. A far as being pacifist, they are but, let us not forget, they were the earliest practitioners of the martial arts; they may not start the fight but they'll finish it.

Generally Buddhist do not judge anyone on any issue and they never try to evangelize anyone, and as a rule just search for truth where ever it is. No confrontations.

Since it's non-theistic and is more of a personal enlightenment it is quite similar to atheism.
I think the difference might be more rooted in atheism's foundation in skepticism, and the idea that one can learn the true nature of reality in Buddhism. Also, Buddhism seems to talk about suffering and removal of desires a little too much for me, and I don't view the world that way.

Buddhists are great role models for Atheists. They don't go out of their way to argue and challenge Theists.

Buddhists in America do not generally try to inflict their faith onto non-Buddhists. Also, it's non-theistic.

Definitely the philosophy makes the most sense.
Buddhists NEVER try to force their beliefs on anyone. Buddhists never try to force their dogma into our laws.

Because Buddhism teaches man the way of life as a constant search for himself within and not from outside of him. Only when one someone knows himself completely then it will be easy for him to understand what is there outside of him.

I've never had a buddhist attempt to push his or her beliefs in a manner I found inappropriate or aggressive.
