I have had my nails done for years because I have always thought it was sexy and looked nice plus it shows I take care of myself. BUT a guy friend of mine told me that he thinks that they are vain and a waste of money...what do you think? (I am 31 btw)

It is good for you own self confidince to make yourself look good and feel good. When you dress it makes feel better about yourself, which makes you feel happy, THAT IS GOOD! Do not worry if a few people do not agree, not everyone feels the same. The rest of us guys who see you will notice

All the nails that I have bought when I was youner was just a waste til I got them done at a nail shop that money at the nail shop are worth is and they wont fall off in a day

I think long nails are hot, whether they're real or not!!
Nothing feels quite as good as those nails running down my back... lightly or hard... even just tracing gently...
Yeah, nails are definitely hot. If your guy friend thinks they're vain and a waste of money.... then don't use them on him. His loss!
But you're MORE than welcome to come use them on me.

It's all personal preference. As long as it's your money and you like them it's not a waste of money. However it definitely doesn't appeal to all men. I personally think they look cheap and fake as a toupe' with a chinstrap.

Girls like to pamper themselves, it's just in our nature. If it makes you feel good, then do it. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Little things like that can really brighten your day.
