Cycling is an excellent and fun exercise. Having said this, any bicycle would do but there are some considerations to add:
- As with golf clubs, running shoes, tennis racquets, etc., cycling gear quality does affect your riding.
- Purchasing an inexpensive bicycle just to discover a few months later that you need/want something different is not good business.
- A mountain bike is sturdier than a road bike and it is more comfortable (riding position and suspension forks make a great difference) but at the same time, mainly because of the tires used on an MTB, you´ll find you need to make a greater effort to gain a certain speed and keep it for a time.
I suggest you rent and ride an MTB, a Road and a Touring bicycles and discover which is best for your riding experience. Only then look at the shop windows!

Hi Gen, I know exactly how you feel about riding a Mountain Bike! When I first started riding I also did not have a lot of money and when I started riding the flat dirt trails I had a hard time riding and I thought mountain biking was really hard.
I took a friends advice and purchased a lower priced named brand bike the "TREK 820". It was a hardtail with front suspension. It cost a few dollars more than the Walmart Schwinn's etc., but I know I purchased a quality bike and I have had no problems the time I owned the bike.
Just keep riding and get use riding off road. It gets a lot easier as your body gets use to riding. I now ride 3 times week and I am hooked. It is a great workout! Good Luck!

Go to your local bike shop. They can fit you and make the best recommendations for a bike in your size and budget based on what you want to do with it. Whatever you do, avoid discount stores and department stores like WalMart and Target! If your mountain bike seemed hard to ride there is a good possibility it wasn't fit for you.
Good luck!!!

as far because the allergies pass, it sounds like seasonal allergies. considering the fact that i'm no longer a widespread practitioner and do not artwork contained in the medical field, i will not advise any ideas to this project. as far because the mountain cycling is going although, you want more beneficial variety. first all, you do prefer to scale back out the 5-hour power, this is alright to have after the holiday, yet do not take it earlier. the trick is to situation your muscle staying power, meaning their oxygen skill will advance, which means that you may do an same quantity of work at a decrease heart fee. the caffeine contained in the ability drink is basically elevating your heart fee up. you do get more beneficial oxygen to the muscle mass, yet you even ought to respire swifter and larger sturdy to finish that. like with any pastime, you'll attain a plateau on your progression, in this time, rather of doing an same recurring you've been doing, attempt something new as a fashion to finish muscle confusion. attempt some quickly, effortless trails which will help you safeguard a quite intense cadence or some short technical climbs which will drain you in very few short yards. from my own own adventure, I have chanced on that loading on carbs the nighttime earlier to 2 nights earlier my holiday and ingesting various water earlier the holiday provides me the necessary power. attempt to devour sometime in the course of your holiday, possibly once you get to the properly of the mountain and earlier you're making your before down. attempt to artwork in a events drink in the course of the holiday. sweating would not purely rob you of priceless water, yet salts besides. in case you proceed sweating and purely replacing the water, you'll finally cramp up inspite of how a lot water you drink. wish my suggestion is a touch helpful.

Look for a road bike with gears. If the bike has a freewheel on it you can shift to your liking of pedaling power.
Cruiser: Usually cruisers are straight up road bikes and are totally made for comfort and ease.
