When he was alive, I swear we used to share the same dreams … and for the past few nights, I’ve been having the same feeling of dreaming that I’m experiencing existence through his perspective. I am just being silly, or could I be meeting with kitty in my dreams?

I don't see why you couldn't be meeting with your cat in your dreams. You cat is important to you and has left an imprint on you (and you on him). Existence is mysterious and immense; you are definitely not being silly.

I believe this dream is similiar to those who dream of family members who passed away and when they do this its usually because they wonder if they were still living what advice or comments would they give us today. Yeah. Its possible, My mom had the same thing with her cat when it ran away. He was black and got away on Friday the 13th and someone stole him and she had a dream of who it was and now they are in jail for skinning and mudering him. And ever since them she has dreams and feels like they are still connecting
