As long as you have a relationship with Christ, he is all about friendship and fellowship. Every time you open the bible he breaths into you life, to give you more knowledge. The book of Proverbs is the book of wisdom, so that is awesome you read it, if you were to read a chapter for everyday of the month, the book of Proverbs has 31 chapters in it for each day in a month, no one will be able to tell you different, because you will have enough wisdom, and understanding. You will have the courage, knowledge, wisdom and understanding, through Christ. Trust in God, your body is the church the temple of Christ. When you look at yourself in the mirror you will see a reflection of Christ in you, because you were created in his image, because he lives in us...
Just pray to him and let it be his will and he will show you and teach you, ask him for renewal of the mind. You will understand the movement of the holy ghost, the people he will put in your path way, everything is seasonal in our lives to understand what he teaches us. You will learn how to discern to know right from wrong. Who ever offers you poisoned bread it is not of God. That is whom ever does not believe in the Trinity, doesn't believe in Jesus to be the father and the son and the holy ghost.

Knowing right and wrong and awareness of Commandments isn't enough unless you apply what you know. Proverbs is the same, you have to apply what you learned.
Being hellbound for not reading the Bible? Of course not. Those who read for the sake of just letting others know that he has read, may even have more to answer for the wicked thing he does. If you really know as you claim what is right and wrong, then do everything in your power to always strive to do the right things.

I think everyone should read the bible at least once in their lives. I for one have "started" to read it a few times. But have never read it all the way through. Nor do I understand half of whats in it. I do have a spiritual connection with God. I pray every night etc. So I hope we aren't hell bound.

You're not bound to anything. I'm not a religious person, but I can tell you from years of reading the bible and a couple years of attending church that God could careless about whether you have read the Bible, so long as you are a good person and you do good. You can't go to hell if you have a pure heart.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. There is a way that will seem right. If you don't read your bible, you know of God, You may even believe. However, you can be misled. You will definitely not get the whole picture. It's fine with some of these people, in their minds "you're saved". Keep in mind they are not your judge, neither am I Jesus is. It's your choice. I hope you make the right one.

No you are not hellbound, you are just fine. Of course right after I write this answer, the christians and catholics will flock to this question and tell you otherwise. Don't listen. In my opinion you are fine believing in what you want as long as its not destructive. Having a spiritual connection with god shows how soulful and in tune with yourself.

I think it's great that you feel that you are spiritual. I myself do not affiliate with any religion but feel VERY VERY secure with my life choices and where I stand with "god". Many people will try to tell you that your wrong and maybe even a bad person for not going to church or reading the bible, but in all reallness god is the only person who can judge you.

Why would God punish somebody for not reading a book? I am in the same boat as you. It is my personal belief that it is the personal relationship with God that matters. The bible is used to help illustrate the teachings of Christianity.
God loves you. If you love him back, you will be fine!

Well, yes and no. It's good that you have a connection with God, but the reason we read the Bible (and go to church) is to learn. The more we learn, the more we know God. The more we know God, the closer we can become to Him.

The Bible doesn't = spirituality
So yes, you can be spiritual, as many in the world are, without the Bible or man made religion for that matter.
Whatever you decide, make the choice for yourself, not because someone tried to "force" you to do so. Your personal relationship with God is what is important, not how others feel about that relationship, it is none of their business. Best wishes on your spiritual journey!
