Give me a break. Just because some people in the past few years have attached a certain meaning to rainbow colors, doesn't mean that that was God's original intention. The Bible clearly states that the rainbow was a sign from God signifying His covenant with man to never again destroy the entire earth with water.

You can either decide to believe some invented idea with absolutely no precedent, or you can believe what God already said in the Bible.
(Incidentally, the Bible also says that homosexuality is wrong... why would God promote it?)

The rainbow was God's promise not to destroy the earth again specifically by flood.

No not at all. The rainbow was God's promise not to destroy the world again. The homosexual community has just taken something wonderful from God and perverted it.

Good question. It can be if you want it to be. Retroactive reinterpretation is how these things usually work.

It is written in one book that it was god's promise not to flood the earth again. It is written in Yahoo Answers that the rainbow is a prediction of gay pride. Who is to say which one is right?

Perhaps homosexuals stole the rainbow as their symbol because they really want to be covered by God's promise but don't know how to admit it.
