The people doing this to you....don't actually believe in what they are trying to push down your throat. Oh my God how can I say such a thing....easy b e c a u s e
A person that truly believes is not judgmental and does not pass judgement on others. They need to get there so called noses back into the Bible because they are not following the word or words of Jesus. They might think they are but there not.
I personally have always believed. When I was young I went to Sunday school, then church, then I was old enough to decide if I wanted to keep going, and didn't. I'm an adult and am not affiliated with any church, I do not go, I have a little problem with the church, but I think its because of the holier than though people that attend that I have a problem with. Plus my feelings are that I don't need to publically show off my beliefs to others. God knows my heart.
You have a right just like all of us to use this site no matter what.....so keep at those so called Christians maybe you'll actually teach them something about there faith in the long run.
I want you to think about something for a second...you might have a problem with what I'm about to say but I'm sayin it anyway. If your being a little religous rebel (sort a speak) do you realize your actually doing good for religion. How can that be you may ask. Well think of it this way. Here you've got out in the world believers that say they believe in God and His word....but there actions speak louder than there beliefs don't they...and here you are posting a question/statement regarding there attitude towards you. Which is not at all christian what they have done to you. So even when you don't think your doing something righteous, you could be doing just that.

Because the pseudo Christians that do it are not Christians at all but ideologists - there is a huge difference!
The sad thing is that there are many good Christians out there that believe in a loving, inclusive and forgiving God. They just do not speak up very often. Probably because of the bullying from the extremist, fundamentalist ideologues!
Whilst everyone supports freedom of religion these idiots need to realise that unless they recognise freedom from religion as a right as well then governments will legislate against Christianity which stands alone as the only religion that does this!!

Exactly how do you define "bully" and where are you being driven out of when you say "out of here"?
Catholic Christians and non-Catholic Christians should not "bully", meaning they shouldn't force their beliefs on people.
Having said that, it is wrong for Catholic Christians and non-Catholic Christians to keep their faith to themselves. They are mandated to evangelize. Of course, there are right ways and wrong ways to do that.
Perhaps you encountered over-zealous types preaching fire and brimstone? I don't know why some people do that. It is clearly not attractive to non-believers for obvious reasons.
Please do not let a few bd apples spoil the barrel.

The way I see it, those "Christians" that bully you are not living as Jesus has told them to. Personally I am a Christian, however I believe Christ teaches LOVE and when you start bullying someone because of their beliefs you are a hypocrite! That's SOOO wrong on so many levels! Jesus never turned anyone away that came to him and a true believer that lives a life for Christ wouldn't do that either. You have your beliefs and opinions and your entitled to them thats what God created as freewill. On behalf of the Christians who are true followers of God's word, I would like to apologize for the grief and annoyance other's have put you through. Christianity is love for others not hating you just because you dont agree with them!

Honey, you seem to take care of yourself very well. Perhaps they are guilty of "attempted bullying" but you have them wipped.
Christ would be ashamed of the way many of his followers act. It is Christ that said "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" as he sat and talked to a prostitute. He led by example and these people attempt to lead by threat. (I know there are many good Christians, and this should not reflect on them.)
Some of the most Christlike people are leaving the church because of actions by a few nutcakes. If they don't watch out the church will lose its base of reasonable people.

Yes you do! I believe in God, but I don't mind hearing from different perspectives. It's just that you have to be strong enough to accept that most christians are going to take your questions as put downs if they are not carefully phrased. Just as most atheists are going to take questions from Christians as put downs. I have a question now that I would like to ask the atheists. I won't ask it because I am afraid it will be taken the wrong way. I would mean sincerely, but I know I would get few real answers and many lucrative answers from both christians and atheists. I don't want to put up with the war that will go on. My point is either be tough, or don't ask.

Am curious where you live to get that impression. I myslf am non-believer and am feeling no pressure at all from catholic groups (living in Canada). Actually, if anything the catholic church is not aggressive enough in getting their message through. Not the one about God and Jesus, but the one about love and respect of others. There are a lot of positives that can be taken from religion, but it seems that we only hear from the zealots, especially from muslims who seem to be the only expansive religion out still out there trying to conquer and convert others (christians were also guilty... but we are talking about back in the crusade years).
So moral of the story... religious people be heard ! But for your god's sake... respect the choice of others. Not believing in your god does not mean we deserve to die.

Let me ask you something, why would you take a chance, and not believe in something, and it happens to REALLY EXIST, and you took that chance for that little short life on earth, and you die and burn in hell for eternity? Not worth it hugh? Just lets say, FOR SOME ODD REASON, theres no such thing as God, (the REAL GOD, in Christians eyes), but you lived a good Christian life, nobody would have anything bad to say about you because you turned out to be a good, well around person. Dont you ever get scared not believeing? I would. You need to sit back and think, "If these Christians are right, where would I go?" Well I can tell you if you dont except Jesus Christ in your life, and thats called HELL. Why take the chance of burning forever in eternity? Please, just try to go to church, and listen to what the preacher has to say, it makes sense, I PROMISE,,,,, GOD BLESS YOU,,, have a good day

I'm a Catholic. I've never bullied you. Nor have I ever seen another Catholic bully you.
I've never even commented about your constant anti-Catholic dialog. It's how you feel and you have a right to it.
Please. Don't lump us all together. We are not all the same.
