In my book everybody is religious so I don't know where to start. I think self justification and justification of those who think like we do is the worst problem -- there may be worse qualities.
The people I know and know of could be classed as very religious. Many are among the most knowledgeable on earth. Yet, for some, knowledge is a curse, for others a blessing.
On your question I will answer as a misanthrope.

Truth should make one very, very humble.

Lets face it almost all religions are tolerant of non believers!
The Muslim religion actually enshrines the right of people to be non believers and protects their rights!!!
There really is only one religion that hosts extremists and that is the Christian religion. The good Christian believes in a loving, inclusive, tolerant and forgiving God.
Sadly most of the people posing as Christian on here are ideologues and not Christian at all.
These pseudo Christians have many, many worst qualities. Hate, intolerance, arrogance, egotism, ignorance. But the worst quality of all is probably that they are damaging the church from the inside and defiling God's name.
But please remember those good Christians are out there!!!

That's a tough question to answer. So many people who are religious express it in different ways, right? I think what you are asking is 'worst quality in expressively religious people'......in that case I would have to say bigotry.

This question would presume that all religious people are the same and that one has met all religious people. . . .do you see how silly that is.
Do you realize that it is thoughts like this that keep you in your box? Maybe you know a person who is religious who had a personality that you did not like. . .maybe you have met many like that. . .maybe it could be due to your lack of understanding. I would guess the way you generalize gets on some peoples nerves. Allowing one person or a few of any kind to determine your whole way of thinking is sad.

Believe it or not there are some religious people who do "get it" but there are alot that don't, they are called HYPOCRITS, and they are the worst kind!!!!!!!

I cant stand closed-mindedness!! If we would consider the thoughts of feelings of eachother we wouldn't have all these problems we are having. too many people fail to think of others and impose their beliefs on everyone else
