Today, the number who embrace true Christianity has surpassed six million. The word of God has also spread geographically, for Jehovah’s Witnesses are found in 236 lands. Furthermore, Bible truth has exerted power, prevailing over all obstacles, religious and otherwise. This global preaching activity adds to the irrefutable proof that Jesus is present in Kingdom power.—Matthew 24:3, 14.
During the years since the first missionaries were sent out from Gilead School, the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses has experienced growth at an astounding rate. In 1943, when the school opened, there were only 129,070 Witnesses in 54 lands (but 103 lands according to the way the map was divided in the early 1990’s). By 1992, there were 4,472,787 Witnesses in 229 countries and island groups worldwide. As this growth has taken place, the needs of the organization have changed. Branch offices that at one time cared for less than a hundred Witnesses grouped in a few congregations are now supervising the activity of tens of thousands of Witnesses, and many of these branches have found it necessary to print literature locally in order to equip those sharing in the evangelizing work.
Just as historians remarked on the astounding growth of Christianity in the first century, many scholars have commented on the growth of Jehovah’s people in modern times.
In the United States, two scholars jointly wrote: “During the past 75 years the Jehovah’s Witnesses have sustained an extraordinary rate of growth . . . and have done so on a global scale.” An East African journal refers to the Witnesses as “one of the world’s fastest growing and highly respected religions known internationally for its total adherence to biblical teachings.” And a conservative Catholic journal, published in Europe, refers to “the overwhelming growth of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” What has contributed to this growth?
Jehovah’s Witnesses are known internationally as evangelizers, that is, messengers of good news. English sociologist J. A. Beckford noted this in Social Compass of January 1977: “The Witnesses are among the most assiduous and energetic evangelisers and proselytisers in the modern world.” He added: “This is an obvious, albeit often neglected, reason for the Watchtower movement’s growth-rate.”
Witnesses' Growth Worries Italy’s Catholics: “Warnings about Jehovah’s Witnesses have become a frequent pulpit topic in some Rome parishes,” says The Catholic Standard and Times. “What concerns the Church is the Witnesses’ rate of growth and their energetic and apparently successful methods of recruiting new adherents.”
Earlier in the year, seminary professor Monsignor Lorenzo Minuti told Pope John Paul II “that the Jehovah’s Witnesses are ‘moles’ undermining the Church and compared them to an ‘epidemic.’” He called on the church to take preventive measures, as if stopping a plague. According to Minuti, the number of Kingdom Halls in Rome increased from 10 in 1982 to 66 in 1989, whereas there are only 44 temples and churches for all other non-Catholics in the city. “The secret to the Witnesses’ success in the land of popes and churches is their evangelical zeal,” the paper said, calling for “a new Catholic evangelization of Italy.” (Jehovah Witnesses are now the 2nd [second] largest religion in Italy)

considering the fact that I relatively have by no ability heard of absolutely everyone of Jehovah's Witnesses seek advice from absolutely everyone as a recruit i will anticipate which you're coming up a term that suits in jointly with your view human beings. i additionally will anticipate that via "recruit" you advise bible learn. that's quite no longer likely that there have been in uncomplicated terms 21 distinctive Bible study performed via that congregation. In an common month in 2008 (i don't have the 2009 numbers in front of me immediately) there have been a million,059,253 publishers in the U. S. and 603,313 study. that's in uncomplicated terms somewhat over a million learn for each 2 human beings. With relatively 21 individuals (people who flow away the congregation often are not engaging in study) this congregation could have a million learn consistent with person. if it is the case (and not a case of you purely making up numbers to in shape your person selfish prefer to entice disciples far off from God to your self) then this could be a very energetic congregation and could be very lots starting to be spiritually. the actuality that 4 human beings the two left the congregation or have been removed from it could be a demonstration of a prefer to be conscious God's righteous standards to the congregation. of direction, i do no longer comprehend what's meant via lost right here while relating individuals. you may somewhat evaluate it a grievance of a congregation's growth if the 4 individuals have been lost to dying or moving as a results of activity substitute or a prefer to serve the place the prefer is extra desirable. As an entire Witnesses did teach a growth of two% standard interior united statesa.. As in the previous suggested i don't have the 2009 numbers in front of me, yet I do keep in mind analyzing in modern-day Kingdom Ministries that there have been new archives for numbers of publishers set in the two July and August of this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days so that's risk-free to assert that we've experienced growth this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days to boot. If standard the congregation you're relating did have a internet loss of two then they don't seem to be common for a congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. If the the rest individuals are all engaging in a bible learn then they seem to be a very zealous congregation who will relatively be blessed with growth in the close to destiny.

The sheep are coming to the shepherd now in great numbers.
We have just as many studying the bible to become baptized as there are active Witnesses.
The numbers will double before too long.
They are grabbing hold of the skirt of a (spiritual) Jew and saying let us go up with you people for you have sayings of everlasting life.
