I had 10 days after my "A" school, but I was going on to a couple of follow-on "C" schools afterward. I had 10 more days after completing my "C" schools before I reported to my next command, although I understand this is not typical.
Normally it will be 10-15 days, depending on the length of the "A" school and the amount of leave he has earned. The Navy frowns on sailors going negative on leave balance nowadays.

On average, sailors get 2 weeks after A school. They may get more depending on th length of the school. However, most A school grads have not earned more that 14-18 days of leave. It is never a good idea to have your leave balance fall into the negative. So it is rare for them to be athorized more leave than they have earned. Usually only approved in emergency situations. Military members earn 2.5 days per month.

2 weeks leave is typical after "A" school but, it might depend on his next duty assignment. If he's going to a ship and it's close to being deployed, he might have less time. Most of the time he gets the 2 weeks if he hasn't already used them after boot camp but went straight to "A" school from Boot.

Depedning on the "A" school he will have up to 30 days of leave before having to report his first command. Nothing is carved in stone though until he gets his orders. His orders will tell him exactly what he will be authorized to take.

2 weeks. At least that was the way it was when I was in. You get 2 weeks after boot and 2 weeks after a school. You start your first year 1 month behind, but catch up quickly.

depends on when his Report No Later Than Date is, and whether or not he is willing to go into the hole. he could have a s little as one day to get to his first duty station, to as long as a month, but typically, they will not allow you to go into the hole for leave days much past 2 weeks.
