It was on Saturday late mornings and had a "wacky"scientist with wild hair. He had a guy in a rat costume and a younger woman as side kicks. I think it had the word Labratory in the title but I can't remember. Can someone please help with the name of this show? If you know if it's on DVD as well that would be great!

Thanks to all who got Beakmans world, not remembering the name has plagued me for several years. I'm glad it's on DVD! Besides Bill Nye the knock-off was never as good as Mr. Wizard and Beakman together! Science nerds unite!

Could you be thinking of Mr. Wizard? I think it was on earlier (like 70's or 80's) but I think there was a character that was a rat or mouse - named Sven McCheese? I could be wrong, but other than the decade it fits what you're looking for. Hope that helps... if not, good luck!
